Our Story
The Loughran Family have been farming lands at Clermont Park, Haggardstown since 1908. In 1979, Anthony Loughran, established Loughran’s Stores Ltd with a view to helping local farmers by providing an alternative, independent outlet for their grains, as well as a source of high quality, competitively priced farm inputs and supplies such as animal feeds, fertilisers, pesticides and seeds.
Today, that ethos continues to guide the company. We are firm believers that people do business with people, and it is our goal to build and maintain strong personal relationships with each of our valued farming customers. We understand the financial, regulatory, time and weather constraints that farmers operate under, and we aim to help, in any way we can, because we care.
Sometimes that may mean delivering a small order to customer who needs it in a hurry, or staying open all night during harvest to help a customer get grain cut before it rains. Sometimes it may mean listening as a customer shares their problems or worries.
